October 2011 - Jennifer Edery is a 9 year veteran of the road. She is also a veteran of the United States Navy, where she learned to be a diesel mechanic. Jen is a long time resident of California, 27 years, where she enjoys surfing, kite boarding and bicycling. Congratulations and thank you Jen! September 2011 - Dan Rushing - Dan is coming up on his 5 year anniversary with Coldiron. He's been driving for about 15 years total. Dan is particularly fond of the niche he's found in the driveaway business. Dan is a newlywed of just over a year with a lovely wife at home. When he's not sightseeing on the road, he's a big fan of his rock crawler and he's an up and coming kayaker. Dan also enjoys hiking a bit. Thank-you Dan for all your hard work and congratulations! August 2011 - Anthony Small - Anthony is an experienced driver with 13 years of driving, who has worked with Coldiron since April 2011. Anthony says he's old school, very loyal, consistent and above all, patient. Anthony enjoys and consistently exercises three days a week. He is very diversified in his interests and hobbies which consist of gardening, cooking, interior decorating and writing. Anthony's dad always told him to make a good first impression. July 2011 - Jonathan Foster - Jon is a veteran driver of 20 years who has been with Coldiron for 3 years. Jon has one daughter who lives in Texas with 2 lovely grandchildren , whom he'd like to visit more often. Jon hails from Indiana where he lives on a farm with nine horses and many goats. He enjoys riding his horses when he has time. Thank-you Jon for all your hard work. Congratulations! June 2011 - Peggy Modesty - Peggy has 5 years of driving experience, over 3 being with Coldiron. She hopes to drive for 5-10 more years. Peggy is a proud grandmother of 7 children. She also has many hobbies including: gardening, sewing, quilting and fishing. Peggy is still very much in love with her husband Don of 29 years next month, who is also a Coldiron independent contractor. Congratulations and thank-you for all your hard work Peggy. May 2011 - Derek Burns - Derek has been driving for 8 years.  He's been with Coldiron for 2 months.  Derek is originally from the Charlotte area, is married and has children and grandchildren.  During his time off, Derek enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, football and singing in the church choir.  Congratulations and thank-you Derek! April 2011 - Doug Quarles - Doug has 18 years of experience, almost 3 with Coldiron. Doug is originally from Washington D.C. and is a huge Redskins fan. He moved to North Carolina when he was in school and has lived there ever since. Doug loves NASCAR and wouldn't miss the Memorial Day race in Charlotte for the world. Doug is probably the most prepared driver on the road, he carries a full arsenal of supplies and tools for every need. Thank-you Doug for all your hard work, we appreciate you. March 2011 - Lyndon Lewis - Lyndon is a true veteran of the road with 26 years of experience and over 1 million miles. He has been with Coldiron for over 2 years. Lyndon is a native Texan who is also a Sooner fan, go Sooners! He is also a big fan of the Cowboys and the Mavericks. Lyndon has been married for 32 years-way to go Lyndon! He has three children and three grandchildren. As you can tell, Lyndon's hobby is motorcycles. He currently owns a Harley Davidson motorcycle. February 2011 - Larry Butler - Larry started driving very early in life and has over 35 years of experience over the road.  He has been with Coldiron for 3 years.  Larry lives in Indiana and is a big Hoosier fan.  His other hobbies include welding, mechanical work and spending time with his 10 grandchildren.  Larry is teaching his grandchildren to bowl, hold golf clubs and shoot hoops.  Larry very much enjoys working for Coldiron.  Thank-you Larry for all your hard work! January 2011 - David Torres - David is getting close to his 3 year anniversary with Coldiron and has approximately 8 years of driving experience. David enjoys the scenery and the country while driving, especially the beautiful mountains in Wyoming. When David is at home in Houston, he takes the dogs on outings to the dog park. He likes to tinker on his truck and he also likes to work out. David enjoys classic rock and R&B. Congratulations David! Thank-you for all your hard work. December 2010 Multiples: Ricardo Garcia-Fernandez. Ricardo is originally from Madrid, Spain. He moved to the US in 2003 with his wife. Ricardo has driven for Coldiron almost 2 years and has a total of 5 years of driving experience. Ricardo is a karate expert with 4 black belts. Ricardo enjoys chess and has been a vegetarian for 40 years. Thank-you Ricardo! Singles: Athan Richardson. Athan has been with Coldiron for less than 2 months, but has 14 years of driving experience. Athan is originally from Florida, but now resides in South Carolina. Athan’s family has a history of military service, as does he. He was a member of the Marines for 4 years. Athan learned from his elders to be honest, consistent and to work hard to be appreciated. Athan attributes his success to his strong belief in God and family. Thank-you Athan, keep up the good work. James has been married for almost 30 years and has 2 sons, who he enjoys spending time with when he’s not working. James’ youngest son keeps him busy with baseball, basketball and football when he’s home. Thank-you James and congratulations. Singles: Sandee Holland lives in Texas. Sandee has fifteen years of experience and had has been with Coldiron going on three years. Sandee has one son and four grandchildren. September 2010 Multiples: Paul Fleming coming up on his first year anniversary with Coldiron. Paul came to us through Truck Transfer and now has eight years of driving experience. Paul is a great reader and devours books when he has time. Among his favorite reads are James Patterson and all self help. Paul is also a big fan of ESPN, enjoying all sports, especially the MBA. Terri is originally a California girl, who now resides in Tennessee and is the proud parent of one son. Terri served in the Navy and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. Terri enjoys hiking, and is an avid reader and movie buff. June 2010 - Bernard “Don” Modesty - Don is a 21/2 year veteran of Coldiron. Overall, Don has 22 years of driving experience. Don resides in Illinois with his lovely wife, Peggy, who also drives for Coldiron. Don and Peggy have 4 children (one son drives for Coldiron), and 6 grandchildren.
